The house is tucked away in a peaceful Cornish valley in an area of outstanding natural beauty yet is within a mile of the A38 and striking distance of Saltash and Plymouth.

On fine mornings, the sun streams in through the bedroom windows encouraging you to throw open the curtains and enjoy the view. The rooms overlook the garden and across the valley of the River Lynher to an ever-changing patchwork of fields and woods that glow in the evening sun. The Lynher is a tributary of the Tamar, the boundary line between Devon and Cornwall.

Wildlife abounds here with sounds of owls, woodpeckers and buzzards, according to the season, and many songbirds visit the birdfeeders outside the breakfast room window.

Treluggan Manor B&B is well placed to visit several National Trust properties in the area including Buckland Abbey and Saltram in Devon and Anthony House and Cotehele House in Cornwall. The beautiful headland of the Mount Edgcumbe estate and the beaches of Whitsand Bay are a short drive from here. The excellent wedding venues of Pentillie Castle, Lantallack and Port Eliot are all within easy reach of here. A number of pubs serving tasty home-cooked food are a short distance away, including the Rod & Line at Tideford and the Finnygook at Crafthole.
